On Saturday - July 11th Human
Powered Trails is holding it's third of four "Trail Fest's" for 2009 - to celebrate
the trails and say thanks to our many volunteers (past, present and
future)!
If you have been wondering about what HPT does or how to get involved,
this is also a great opportunity to have some fun, eat some great food
and meet others involved in building better trails for the La Crosse
area.
We will start the day with a hike and a number of group mountain bike rides for
every level of rider. All rides will be lead by experienced HPT
Volunteers.
No matter what your
ability we'll have experienced volunteers to guide you around some of
the best built trails in the midwest - right in your own back yard!

See and test ride the latest, state-of-the-art bikes from BH Bikes and Pivot Cycles, July 10th from 4 to 8pm and Saturday - July 11th during the TrailFest.
BH Bikes from Spain offer feather-light, tour-worthy road bikes...the same bikes ridden by AG2R.
Pivot Cycles bring frame and suspension technology to a whole new level.
Bring your favorite pedals and shoes. Always wear a helmet.

Human Powered Trails will be hosting Kelly and Collins Bishop of the IMBA Trail Care Crew to hold a Trail Building School on June 13th and 14th. The weekend will surround our June Trail Fest with activities on Thursday through Sunday.
Don’t miss the opportunity to have the trail building knowledge of IMBA channeled directly into your skull free of charge. The FREE training will include a day and a half of classroom and field instruction. The school will combine interactive learning, hands-on trailwork and top-notch instructors to develop skilled trailworkers and trailwork leaders. On top of the IMBA greatness, HPT will be bringing their own style of trail fun including social events, a screening of the acclaimed film “Klunkerz”, and the TrailFest on Saturday.
All trail users are invited and encouraged to take full advantage of this great opportunity so please pass the word.

A smile on your face on April 15 can mean very few things; either your taxes are in and Uncle Sam is cutting you a big return, or you are sitting at Howies with a bar room of fellow trail enthusiasts, a plate full of grub and an icy beverage to match.
